The Gallery, South Course
The Gallery South Course is located in the striking foothills of the Tortolita Mountains.  Nominated as one of Golf Digest’s 100 best, this Tucson area course is not your typical desert golf course.  The South Course is quite different from the North course as well in both terrain and architectural scheme.

Course architect John Fought followed the beautiful terrain gently downhill and has the golfer play the first seven holes in a row to the west.  The remaining links take two loops before returning to the award-winning clubhouse.

The slightly elevated tees are placed with a geometric precision to all a dead center setup to the wide and ample fairways.  Shallow fairway bunkers aim in framing the holes and are generally small and sparsely present.  In contrast to the North course, the greens are very large.  All greens are elevated 3 to 5 feet and, in varying degree, all edges roll away.

The rolling terrain, rich texture of the natural desert and the generous attention spent on creating the most understated features come together to produce many dramatic holes and panoramic views of the surrounding area.  Come experience for yourself a truly unique desert haven.
